Microsoft introduces Surface Laptop SE equipped with Windows 11

Microsoft’s new Surface Laptop SE, short for student edition, has been launched with Windows 11 SE and 11.6 inch screen. The device is a low-priced gadget specifically targeting students.

The laptop is equipped with a RAM of 8 GB, with 11.6 inch display and 1366 x 768 pixels resolution. The new student-centered laptop has high-resolution display, with up to 16 hours of battery life.

The laptop consists of a full keyboard, USB-A and C ports, with headphone and charging jacks. It further features 2 watt stereo speakers, and a single digital microphone. Moreover, the company offers an all-plastic body, alongside Glacier color variant.

Apart from having a plastic exterior, the new addition is reported to have been powered by an Intel Celeron N4120 processor.

A report previously revealed that the price will fall under $400 so as to deliver comprehensive learning experiences in affordable prices. However, the SE laptop is worth $249 only. The company is trying to keep its cost as low as possible so as to make it more accessible to students, since they are unable to afford costly gadgets while studying.
