In a conversation with Tabish Hashmi, Feroze Khan shared that if he had to, he would side with Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar over Marvi Sirmed as most of the Pakistanis have in the surveys.
Khalil-ur-Rehman and Marvi Sirmed’s live conversation turned into a brutal catfight when the two exchanged heated arguments regarding Aurat March. The controversy dominated headlines for several weeks and the public was divided into two fractions.
In his recent appearance in Tabish Hasmi’s To Be Honest, Feroze Khan shared his two cents on the matter. He revealed that this controversy played a huge part in his decision to quit showbiz. As an actor, he couldn’t pick a side so he decided to quit the industry to distance himself from it.
But later on, he realized that rather than picking sides, he should be able to understand the matter and then share his opinion. When Tabish Hashmi asked whom he would side with if he wasn’t in the industry, the Khuda Aur Mohabbat actor said that it would be Khalil-ur-Rehman.
Since the majority of the people sided with the renowned writer despite his derogatory remarks, Feroze would also support him. He said that KRQ knows how to conduct his point in a respectful manner.
The host reminded him that Khalil-ur-Rehman hurled abuses at a woman, but that didn’t change his views. According to the Ishqiya star, you receive what you give. If you give respect, you’ll earn respect, if you treat someone with love, they will love you back.
