Admission Eligibility Criteria

  1. A person holding a minimum of Higher Secondary School Certificate or equivalent from the relevant recognized board/institution shall be eligible for admission in certificate course.
  2. In the case of General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) A Level, American High School Diploma, or any other foreign qualification, an equivalence certificate from the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC) shall be mandatory.
  3. Documents required along with application form are
    • Attested copies of all educational certificates, diplomas
    • Domicile certificate
    • Two recent passport size photographs
    • An attested copy of the CNIC or B-form
  4. Maximum age limit for admission in all certificates is 30 years on the application submission deadline. Age relaxation up to five years can be granted under special circumstances with the approval of admission committee.

  • Submission of incomplete application form will not be considered for admission.
  • Submission of false information will lead to cancellation of admission or even awarded certificate.

Determining the Merit

The merit shall be determined based on the academic record and entry-test/interview conducted by the university. Following weightage will be awarded for calculation of merit for admission in skills training certificate programs:

Merit List Preparation and Display

  1. The NSU  admission committee shall prepare a merit list of candidates and display on the university website/notice board as per admission schedule announced.
  2. Federal government quota will be strictly observed. In case no candidate is available for the requisite quota, vacant seats will be filled on merit.
  3. Candidates whose names appeared in the first merit list but could not deposit their dues within time due to some genuine reasons may apply for inclusion in the following lists if seats are available. Such applications shall be submitted to the university admission committee at least one day prior to display of the next NSU BS merit list 2021.
  4. The candidate whose name appears in a merit list, he/she will present himself/herself in person, within due time, along with all original documents to the University Admission Committee and follow the committee’s instructions. After documental verification of the applicant’s data in consultation with Students Affairs Office, the Departmental Admission Committee shall generate and issue a bank challan form to the candidate for depositing dues in any HBL branch. It is the responsibility of the applicant to complete these formalities and deposit all dues within the due date.
  5. In case of admission cancellation, fee/dues deposited by him/her shall not be refunded in any circumstances. However, fee is transferable in the intra university certificate programs.
