Nico Ali Walsh, the grandson of previous heavyweight champion and boxing legend Muhammad Ali, crushed Jordan Weeks by TKO in his expert boxing debut on Saturday.

Middleweight contender Ali Walsh is the child of Robert Walsh and Rasheda Ali Walsh, Muhammad Ali's little girl. The 21-year-old marked an arrangement with Bob Arum's Top Rank Boxing in June in front of his first expert battle in Oklahoma.

Ali Walsh, who wore trunks his granddad had given to him, thumped down Weeks halfway through the first round before the ref halted the battle instantly thereafter.

"Clearly my granddad, I've been considering him to such an extent. I miss him. It's been a passionate excursion," Ali Walsh told ESPN. "I think me and him [Weeks] made a tad of history this evening. This lived up totally to my assumptions."

Muhammad Ali kicked the bucket in June 2016. His exceptional boxing profession, phenomenal style for dramatic artistry and stands on social equality made him a standout amongst other known figures of the twentieth century.
