A blast of winter weather has led to a number of mid-Michigan school districts staying closed Thursday, Feb. 27.
“Kearsley Community Schools will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, February 27th, due to dangerous road conditions,” reads a post on the district’s Facebook page Wednesday night.
Caro, Atherton, Bendle, Owosso, Davison, Goodrich, Morrice, Carman-Ainsworth, Ubly, Vassar, Bentley, Dryden, Montrose, LakeVille, Cass City, International Academy of Flint, Grand Blanc, Caseville, Imlay City, Harbor Beach, Flushing, Lapeer, Swartz Creek, Akron-Fairgrove, North Branch, and Mayville schools are among the districts that have canceled classes.
