Japan ‘glasses ban’ for women at work sparks backlash
Wearing glasses at work has become an emotive subject in Japan following reports that a few firms have advised female representatives to evacuate them.
A few nearby news outlets said a few organizations had “prohibited” eyewear for female workers for different reasons.
Among them, some retail chains supposedly said glasses-wearing shop colleagues gave a “chilly impression”.
That has started warmed talk on Japanese internet based life over dress practices and ladies in the working environment.
The Nippon TV system and Business Insider were among the outlets to write about the issue, which saw how firms in various enterprises forbid ladies from wearing glasses.
