China denounces FATF members for pursuing political agenda against Pakistan

China has emphasized its help for Pakistan and cautioned part nations of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) to abstain from politicizing the discussion, Radio Pakistan gave an account of Tuesday.

An authority of the Chinese remote service said Beijing objects to the politicization of FATF as a few nations are seeking after a political motivation against Pakistan.

“China remained with Pakistan and hindered any endeavor to put it on the boycott. We have made it obvious to the United States and India that China can’t do this and it goes past the reason for FATF,” Yao Wen, Deputy Director General for Policy Planning of Asian Affairs, told a gathering of visiting Pakistani writers in Beijing.

He said FATF was not intended to boycott any nation and should assist nations with making a move against fear financing.

Yao said China perceives Pakistan’s endeavors in seeking after its National Action Plan and has energized Islamabad’s enemy of fear based oppression activities.

Alluding to President Xi Jinping’s visit to New Delhi, the authority said the head had passed on Pakistan’s worries on involved Kashmir to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He said President Xi had educated Modi that Pakistan needs to determine the issue through exchange.

On the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, Yao said Beijing invites Islamabad’s choice to set up a different supervisory body that would help quicken chip away at CPEC ventures.
