Brexit: PM to push for election if EU offers longer delay

The PM will push for a general political decision if the EU proposes to defer Brexit until January, No 10 has demonstrated.

Boris Johnson “stopped” his Brexit bill on Tuesday after MPs dismissed his arrangement to get it closed down in three days.

Presently EU pioneers will think about whether to allow a postponement to the 31 October Brexit cutoff time and what length it ought to be.

A letter Mr Johnson was constrained by law to send to the coalition in the wake of neglecting to verify backing for his arrangement on Saturday requires a three-month augmentation.

Equity Secretary Robert Buckland said it was “unquestionably disappointing” to have lost the decision on the timetable for the enactment.
