Microsoft president: Don’t move fast and break things

Some US tech firms have increased a notoriety for being eager to dispatch items before it is evident whether they could be harming to society.

In any case, Microsoft’s leader, Brad Smith, says that it isn’t adequate for such organizations to acquit themselves of obligation and state that it is exclusively dependent upon administrators to choose what is good and bad.

Mr Smith’s book – Tools and Weapons: The Promise and the Peril of the Digital Age – means to fill in as a reminder to the business.

He addressed the BBC’s Leo Kelion while visiting London.
