Tesla’s Musk, Alibaba’s Ma to talk at Shanghai tech event this week

Tesla CEO Elon Musk and Alibaba Group Holding Ltd director Jack Ma will talk at a gathering on computerized reasoning (AI) to be held for the current week in Shanghai, an Alibaba representative said on Monday.

The two business people will have a discussion before a crowd of people on August 29 at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference which will run August 29-August 31, the representative said.

Trump piles another 5% levy on Chinese products

Tesla did not promptly react to a solicitation for input.

Musk affirmed his participation at the gathering prior this month. On Twitter, he additionally said he plans to dispatch a China unit of The Boring Company, his underground transportation adventure, on a similar China trip.

The discussion will come in the midst of an increasing war over exchange and innovation between the United States and China.
